There were no members of the public in attendance.

 

1          Apologies – Cllr Bentley sent his apologies.

2          Declarations of Interest – Cllr Fisher declared an interest in item 7.

3          Written applications for dispensations under the Localism Act 2011 – there were no written applications for dispensation.

4          Minutes of meeting dated 4 October 2022 – these were approved as a true and accurate record.

5          Preferred Options Consultation – Stafford Borough Council Local Plan 2020-2040 – The Clerk had distributed a link to the consultation. A meeting had been scheduled on 8 November 2022 by the Borough specifically for Clerks and Chairmen of Parish Councils to receive an overview, it was resolved the Clerk should attend and feed back.

6          Planning application 22/36239/HOU at 23 Old Road Barlaston described as single storey flat roof extension to provide kitchen/diner.  There were no issues with this planning application.

7          Planning application 22/36330/FUL at Land South of Highfields House, The Green Barlaston described as formation of manage for personal use. There were no issues with this planning application.

8          Proposed planning application at Barlaston Old Road Garage Old Rd, Barlaston.  The Clerk had been in liaison with their planning representative, who had requested a meeting prior to the submission of a formal planning application for the development of this site, including the building of a number of affordable homes.  It was resolved for the Parish Council’s Planning Consultant to attend a virtual meeting along with the Chairman and Clerk of the Parish Council to set out the position of the Neighbourhood Plan protocols and NPPF guidelines.
