At the Women’s Institute meeting held on Wednesday 20th August I received a tree on behalf of the Parish Council. The gift was made to help in the Best Kept Village competition in future years and was gratefully received. The tree, which is a hornbeam, has been planted on the Green adjacent to the bench in memory of Jack Dando. Over time it will add to the presentation of this part of the village
