Minutes of the Sole Trustee of Barlaston Village Hall Held on Tuesday 12 September 2023

1.Apologies – Cllrs Dando, Hemmings & Jones sent their apologies, it was resolved to accept these.
2. Declarations of Interest – Cllr D Borasinski
3. Written applications for dispensations under the Localism Act 2011 None
4. Approval of the AGM Minutes16 May 2023 – Not presented
5. Project Updates
- Tender for the replacement porch – It was decided that the Clerk would process a National Lottery Grant in the name of the Village Hall Committee.
- CCTV – this item is still outstanding but BVH committee to revisit a system called ARLO
- EPC Assessment – Deferred to 2024
6. Determine follow on building works
(a) Damp internal walls.
(b) External pointing
(c) Roofing tiles
(d) Concrete step deterioration
All these items will be included in the Lottery Grant application.
