All members of Barlaston Parish Council are hereby summoned to the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council at Barlaston Methodist Church. Park Drive, Barlaston ST12 9DP on 14 May 2024.  Meeting to commence at 7:00pm. An agenda for the meeting is set out below.

1. Welcome and introductions

The retiring Chairman / Vice-Chairman to welcome those present.

2. Barlaston Parish Council/Declaration of Office

Councillors to declare any interests in accordance with the Relevant Authorities (Disclosable Pecuniary Interests) Regulations 2012.

3. Election of Chair

    • To elect the Chairman for the forthcoming year
    • The Chairman to sign the Declaration of Office form

10. Annual Governance and Accountability Return for the Year ending 31 March 2024

a) To note the Annual Internal Audit Report and determine actions

b) To approve Section 1 (Annual Governance Statement 2023/2024) of the Annual Return

c) To approve Section 2 (Accounting Statements 2023/2024) of the Annual Return

d) To approve the date for the advertising of the exercise of public rights

11. To clarify Budget Details for Financial Year 2024/2025 including earmarked reserves.
