The police advise that they have recently been conducting speeding surveillance operations in the Barlaston area. Numerous drivers have been stopped after exceeding the speed limit. Other offence have been identified including drink driving, driving with defective tyres and driving with no insurance.
The police also advise that with effect from July 1st all fixed penalties will increase. For example an endorseable fixed penalty will increase from £60 to £100.
These police surveillance operations in the parish will be ongoing.
